At Buck's: I wanted something small, so I ordered a "slice" of their home made coffeecake. The waitress laugthed at me, pointing out that this was a small portion... if three people were eating on it.
So much for my... hum... diet.
Was good though.

Got to show up there once in a while. Buck's is a renowned restaurant in the Bay Area, especially for the very high ratio of venture capitalist patrons.
And they serve good breakfasts!

Went to this Palo Alto institution this morning (late better than never), quite a few VCs in there. As a friend who just joined a VC firm reminded me the other day, "we keep on eating out in this business". Unfortunately... very true.
